Players asking to be resigned currently under long term deals?

So, in my CFM we have guys with 5 years left on brand new contracts & they are showing up on the negotiations as wanting a new deal.
Justin Houston's deal is:

Contract: $54.50M / 6 Years
$20.46M Signing Bonus
Salary: $11.22M
Years Left: 6
Cap Penalty: :$20.46M

So it's his 1st year of a new contract & already asking me to negotiate.
I know this issue is on the glitches thread already but does anyone know what will happen at the end of the year?

Will I have to resign him like his deal is over or will it correct itself?

I know the Broncos owner said D. Thomas was also on his negotiating screen with 5 years left on his contract.

Dez Bryant also shows up in the interested in resigning section even though he is on a brand new contract signed in training camp.

yea, the issue appears to be that CFM is still basing it off of their old contract. All of the players I have seen this issue on are guys that got extensions in real life recently, AKA after the initial roster that shipped with the game was created.

From the small test I have done, if you just ignore it until the off season it should take them off the list and they will stick with the current contract. I simmed ahead and didn't give Dez any offers and he still stuck with the old contract.

I would run a test sim yourself though to be certain. I did mine on offline, so if this is an online CFM with other users I suggest you start your own CFM online and sim to the offseason (ensure the CPU resign is set to off so they don't try to give the player an extension) to see if he stays with the current contract or not. You SHOULD find that he will, but it wouldn't surprise me if some odd glitch prevents this in online CFM
