I don't think Ian worked on CCM. CCM was new code.

He was a supervisor of that area, and many areas as the Creative Director.

When you play as a Def player on the franchise - ALL the replays are of the opposing Qb's highlights. It sucks when you make some good plays and at the end of the game its the opposing teams highlights. Hopefully they can fix in next game

Re: Connected Franchise Mode Improvements

This mode needs a complete overhaul. It's so frustrating. Running an All32 control is the only way to have "realistic" experience, but doing so is so damn cumbersome and time consuming it's not worth long-term.

I agree with this 100%. I dabble in coding from time to time (my projects are no where near as expansive as a triple A sports title) and I know firsthand how badly written code can slow down the addition of new features. Sometimes rewrites can take over twice as long as it did to originally create the code, and you're constantly fixing new bugs that emerge. The way EA has previously improved on Madden has been akin to painting over rust patches - it looks good now, but will cause havoc later.

If this is what EA are doing we ought to welcome it. It will mean that adding new features in future years is a MUCH QUICKER process, and we will genuinely be astounded at how much they are able to add to the game in each iteration.

That being said the clock is ticking...

That's the rocket science part.

Crash the CFM? Could you explain (if at all possible)?

When did they try? How did it crash? Was it the way they attempted to incorporate it or the mere fact it was incorporated that made it crash?

If adding features caused it to crash, is that why we have to see two removed to add one old one?

They tried the same time CCM 1st came out, I think it was Madden 13. They tried to implement the draft classes from the previous Madden, but this attempt was crashing the new CCM.

I am going off what EA told us at that time. It's up to each of you whether you believe what they say.

We all are aware what's missing and we'll need to wait another 8 weeks or if we are lucky, before, to hear what's in store for CFM.

Re: Connected Franchise Mode Improvements

- FAs that don't disappear (currently 3 unsigned centers left at the beginning of my 2nd season).
- A roster breakdown that tells me exactly how many players are on my team.
- Global settings for all32 control which can be switched on/off at one screen instead of scrolling to each character in user teams to perform the setting 32 effing times!!
- More control on who retires and when...a la Tom Brady retiring after 2016 season.
- League History: A menu where we can review past SB Victor's, MVPs, records, etc. think profootballreference.com.
