Can a ROLB switch to FS ? And if not what positions can he switch to ?

Yes, in the offseason you can switch players to almost anything.
All LBs can be switched to FS and/or SS. I actually use my fastest LBs as Safeties and they work out really well. I moved Brown to FS and he has gotten several picks and his overall went up like 5 pts. -

Yea I picked up some good Linebackers so I'm thinking of trying Telvin Smith at FS he has decent attributes for it. I'm just hopin when I switch him he doesn't lose alot.Comment

So let me get this right....in the offseason I can change a players position to anything I want.... I.e. DE to LB and during the season I'm limited to position changes I.e. lol to Rolb or FS to SS nothing like LB to FS....Comment

The thing i don't get is why the off season position change is prior to the draft.
Cant switch up o or dlinemen. Cant make a rookie DE to a 34 OLB or a slow CB to a S. Annoying.Comment

well, you can in depth chart, cant you? their OVR might be lower and maybe awareness but I think thats it. then after the year make their position change official. seems kinda realistic to me as rookies in real life transitioning to a new position often take their first year to actually feel their way into that new position. though, I wish we had the option.Comment
