Re: B.S. detector blew up last night

I just want to wrap this up on my end.

Yes when you push 1 button to make your little digital guy throw a ball, and they don't throw it anywhere near where they should, over and over, yes it's coding. What else would it be? It's a video game, I'm not actually making the throw, I'm relying on the 0's and 1's. Sooo yeah, coding.

I found it unrealistic, cheesy and annoying, and I felt the game decided I was going to win before I even kicked off. The end. We can all disagree and the world will keep spinning.

Happy gaming to all.

Agree with your first paragraph, not the 2nd paragraph, but as you said, happy gaming.

Stuff happens.

There is at least a thread a year on these mysterious one off games.

Re: B.S. detector blew up last night

I play as the Steelers, also a 3-4 defense. Most games the cpu gets 2-3 ypc. Played chargers mid season and i could not stop them the mani rb had close to 200 yards plus woodhead broke a few.this is probably due to me playing alot of nickle because they lined up 3 wr alot. Strange games happen. Confidence is huge in cfm. And cousins is terrible in the game. It's not surprising at all he stunk it up for a half or even a whole game. The packers lack of run defense and your poor passing has me guessing they blitzed alot and you threw with no feet set on on the run. It all actually makes sense.

Re: B.S. detector blew up last night

Seems this happens every year with the release of the new Madden. People see something out of the ordinary and think it must be a coding error or glitch. Sometimes it is, most times it's just the randomness of football. If it is happening like this every single game that is a problem, if it is a one time thing it could just be a fluke. I remember last year watching undrafted Jonas Gray shred the Colts for 200 yards and 4TD's, he has never broken 100 yards since then. Weird stuff happens in the NFL and in the game.
