Re: An offensive lineman getting hurt in game.

I really hate to even be this guy, but on sunday i was playing my solo online cfm, i really thought the game had a different feel to it. I haven't played since, but I'll get to dive in again tonight.

Just curious if you Oline injury guys are also playing online cfm's? I could have sworn the game was different.

I might have been A. wishful, B. hopeful, C. crazy, D. sober.

Re: An offensive lineman getting hurt in game.

In my experience, simming games helps realistically risk injuries to the o-line. I've recently adopted a policy to sim every other game to preserve realism/freshness and balance, and various offensive linemen go down with injuries that I need to replace (either through bench depth or FA, and possibly re-shuffle the line) throughout the season when I play.

Starting to think patch 2 bought with it an injury bug. I see players all The time go down and there straight back in the very next play, hopefully this is fixed next patch.

This happened to me. It was Chiefs vs Chargers and Antonio Gates goes down and an injury timeout gets called, he was literally in the next play. Guess he was faking it.

Played 25 games in these two online leagues so far, seen 0 offensive line injuries. Jamaal Charles partially tore his ACL for me however.

I leave Fatigue at 50 with INJ = 90. Play 13 min/18 sec quarters. I manually sub my HB when he turns yellow. I don't bother subbing for the other positions. I probably don't get as much subbing as in real life, but I see some, so I don't bother trying to perfect it. But personally, I wouldn't go over 55.

I always draft and sign linemen as if they could get hurt, so as not to have an unfair advantage against the CPU, so I have a good back up to plug in. It will great if this is actually fixed now.
What were your fatigue / injury / quarter length / runoff settings?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Nothing too extreme.

60 fatigue
65 injury
15 minute quarters
15 runoff

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
