So they made it easier to earn XP using the new XP sliders, but not for Off Line franchises?

As an off line only player... that is lame.

Serious question. What reason do offline players in general have for running their CFM online vs online?

This is what I was wondering. I mean I get that it's possible for internet to go down but I would think that most people have a pretty stable connection these days. But, as far as why they would do this for online as opposed to offline, I think is pretty simple. It's a server side update that can't be pushed via patch, therefor no offline franchise. That's my take anyway.

Because, from what I understand, 32-team control is a lot easier (possible?) offline for a single user. Also, I hope to continue with 16 for a while and an offline CFM won't go "poof" whenever EA decides to shut down their servers.

As for the internet connection stability, some of us older gamers have very limited times to play and don't want to run the risk of it being down when that time arrives.

I know you can save a game if something comes up in the middle of the game, offline, online, no way you can do that.

Re: Any Word

Advantage to Online are the server-side fixes. But I can't imagine there will be many more of those. I'm pretty sure you can also scout over the internet away from the game.

Advantage to Offline is the ability to save whenever you want, and you can keep playing even if the servers go down.
