Madden 17 Art Enhancement Wish List

basically any shoe, glove, facemask, helmet, jersey/uniform, mouthpiece, sock, sleeve, towel, handwarmer, brace, tape or any other thing we see the players on the field in the NFL wearing every single Sunday should be in Madden 17 and able to be fully edited by color, body placement, and separated into home/away custom combos. its a bit ridiculous that we even have to ask for things like this, when another company has entire teams from bygone eras details down flat. Even Dennis Rodman's hairstyle from the 90's in their game. A player that hasnt played in the NBA in how many years? its about attention to detail, not attention to MUT

I don't know why with the more powerful engine and room on Blu-Ray Disc, EA doesn't give us more options with equipment. For years now, everyone has been wanting lip guards and knee braces. Why can't EA be like 2K and give us sleeve options (white sleeves for white jerseys, and colored for dark jerseys) since tons of players are wearing them now. Please give us the option to edit players size, weight, height and even add tattoos on them ourselves like the PS2 days !!! Come on EA, you guys suck Big Time !!!!

1. Change the damn players on the sidelines to make them look like they do on the field, not like they were ported over from Madden 05.


2. More player customization options (shooting sleeves, more cleat options/styles, gloves from Nike/UA etc...)


3. Living stadiums to replicate each specific stadium.


4. Take a page from MLB:The Show's book and have stadium fullness replicate how well the team is playing/fan happiness. (They might have this, but every time I play a 2-10 Titans team, the stadium is packed, which isn't the case in real life.)


5. Pre-game animations (Players warming up with headphones before the game or something player specific.)


6. Player/team specific animations (Cam dab, Antonio Brown 1st down, Lambeau leap, etc...)


7. More throwback jerseys.


8. Nike Color Rush jerseys.


9. Realistic field deterioration.

Random cut-shots of stadium exterior (blimp) after time outs/end of quarter. Maybe some of the downtown metro? kind of like NBA 2k. I think it would make the production of the game more life-like.

EA should just hire everyone who works on 2K to do player models..tattoos, build, etc..

This is a live shot from the opening kickoff cutscene. Camera dude is holding looks like something from the Playstation 1.






This is a shot from a TD when the endzone camera man is moving around for a shot. Looks bad.






This happened after the last two patches. Every time you go no-huddle all the polys drop and you get dudes lookin like burn victims from a Dreamcast game.







Logo is all jaggy. The helmet has pointy polys on the edge. They can't smooth that out?







Why are all these dudes handwarmers so small? They look like theyre wearing fanny packs.







How come the night sky is never actually completely darkened out, even on the clear skies setting like this one is on?







How come the day sky is never clear of clouds even when you choose "clear skies"?







Why would the lights be on and bright like that during a daytime 1pm game? This has been like this forever in Madden. Looks weird. Why won't they fix it?


I was reading this guy on Twitter and he made a good point. He was saying how you can tell when a developer is really trying to be the best not just in the most obvious things but in the little things. How many little things can they continue to ignore year after year before they realize its part of whats holding the game back?

As someone who was at 1 PM game in Miami, the stadium lights ARE on during day games, this is common around the league.

True that, they are on, but not blazing bright with big light trails like in Madden.



In Madden, they overpower the sun.
