Fine tuning the game to realism.

Ok. So sitting here thinking about how the game works. The shorten the game to about a third of an actual game, however, want to keep the stats the same as an actual game. Therefore, the offenses are turned up. Defenses are probably turned down, and the clock doesn't run realistically.

That being said, what could I alter in any setting to have realism. Adjust time to X number of minutes with X amount of play clock run off. Turn down these offensive sliders and turn up those defensive sliders.

Run 14-15 minute quarters with run off down to 15 seconds on play clock. Usually nets about 120 plays per game.

15 min quarters, acc clock down to 12 sec, with a mix of Jarrod21's AM slider sets works well for me.

Re: Fine tuning the game to realism.

I am at 15 min quarters with 15 second accel clock. I get about 125-130 plays per game, but because I have the ball about 35 minutes per game I would say I get 75 my self. I average about 33-35 rushes and about 40 passes per game with some sacks and other random plays here and there. My team (the Jags) is allowing about 23 ppg and I am scoring about 29 right now in season two. Just had back to back games with good scores. Beat Oakland 23-21 and beat Denver 24-17. Also had a 10-3 game early in the year and very few shootouts. Had a 39-31 game that I won against the Texans and their new #1 pick QB and had a bad loss 37-9 against the Ravens who I feel play WAY better than they should. They ruined me in my first season in the same kind of game like 41-10 or something crazy. I have a very balanced offense so that probably helps the games go along but it usually takes me just over an hour to play a full game.

Re: Fine tuning the game to realism.

15 min play clock, 15 second runoff, slow game speed, will give around 125 plays per game (NFL avg).

On fast, those same setting seem to generate around 135 plays per game.
