What I could do is an analysis that alleviates the bias for the player's grade (OVR) and tries to base it strictly off of age. I could attempt to do the same thing for contract status...perhaps total cap hit? There is likely some historical data on past contracts.
Let me see what I can come up with and see if it gives me decent results. I want an r-squared value 0.90+ if possible, so if I don't get it, we likely can't use it to correlate.
Anything new on this? I would really love to implement this type of system into the player's grade (OVR) madden uses for our league
