When to cut Mario Williams

As the Bills in an online CFM I need to know when to cut Mario. We are almost done with the second season, and his contract payout for next season is ridiculous (like 25 mil). Should I cut him before my week 17 game? After my week 17 game but before the postseason? Sometime in the postseason? Sometime in the offseason? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good call to keep him two seasons. IRL the Bills are going to cut him this off season, but in Madden you can get 2 good years out of him before he starts to regress and before his cap hit gets outrageous.

One suggestion though: trade him in the off season, don't cut him. Find a team who really needs a LE & trade him. Not sure where he's rated in your franchise but you should be able to pull at least a 3rd rounder. The dead cap hit is the same as cutting him.
