Madden 16 still is my sports game of the year (along with MLBTS 15). The game was a triumph on the field.

CFM needs some serious love.

A dynamic injury system (probable, questionable, doubtful) lingering season long injuries (hamstring, calf, quad etc) where you need to rehab, rest or do you play him and risk further injury? Ratings dynamically changing week to week due to nagging injuries, or returning from a devastating season ending injury. OL need to be able to get hurt away from the play or while blocking.

Improved CPU logic - I would love to be able to run a solo franchise knowing the CPU can properly manage their roster, resigning and drafting/scouting as close to a human as possible.


In game CFM ticker - this is so sorely needed. Scores updated in real time while you play your own CFM game. A ticker like you see on Sundays. Complete with scores, stats, top passers, rushers etc as you play. NCAA 14 has outstanding in game presentation in their dynasty mode. Madden can do this too. It would add so much immersion and make you feel connected with the entire league. If they can also add game breaks (especially when post season seedings are on the line) it would put presentation over the top.

Dedicated formation sub menu in CFM hub screen - So we have been asking for this for years upon years. NCAA football has it. Why can't Madden have it?

Mass subs option - your blowing out a team (or your getting blown out) 31-0 in the 4th quarter. Why can't we use a mass sub screen like NCAA and insert all our second stringers to guard against injury and get some backups some serious playing time.

Auto Subs working properly

Pre-Season sub logic - needs an overhaul. Please fix this.

Pre-Season position battles - Bring this back!

RFA - It's time to have this feature back.

Replay - Needs to work just like the NFL


Gameplay wise I love 16. I hope they just tweak and improve things. The WR/DB interactions are great and can only get better. Next they need to improve line play interactions and this game goes over the top. Really get special teams playing better, and I would love to see a real FG% feature added to add more variety to the kicking game and have some risk in longer FG's and now that the EP are farther back take real % from last season and apply them to the dice roll in the kicking game. make it a toggle option like NBA2K has on FT%. Improve QB inaccuracy. It is better on 16 but can be better yet again for 17.

Roster making editor/abilities - We have a crazy good roster making community. Give them the tool box they need to easily provide rosters for the community!

Classic rosters - It's time EA. It's time to give us classic teams. I don't care if you just give us numbers and allow us to name all the players (like we had too back in the day) but I want classic teams. If you can pull off actual names and correct body looks awesome.

Signature QB/RB/WR/TE motions, running styles etc. Not only individual players but how about stock motions for bull runners, slashers, possession red zone threats, speedsters, big arm QB, mobile QB, pocket QB etc. I want to see better individual player separation on a visual level (as well as ratings level).

Overall I am very excited for Madden 17.

I see you are thinking the same as me. "If NCAA can do it, why can't madden?" You think they would have employed some NCAA guys after it was shut down a few years ago.

What Changed from CFM from 15 to 16?
Whole new Scouting system including draft watch list and Combine, New Depth Charts, Drive Goals, Draft Feedback, Sim-a-Win, Members panel, free practice,

Sim-a-win! That is something I'd imagine would have to be tweaked for this year. No more 77-10 scores, or 56-0.

What Changed from CFM from 15 to 16?

Draft champions helps promote MUT. There are more MUT and DC promotions than CFM. What you are saying changed In CFM, isn't huge game changing features. That's basically doing the minimum and telling us how great it is. You have any idea how many issues we have in CFMs? Game freezing after game prep, game DCing after the game is over and doesn't save the score. Nearly every time I play a CFM game, I have to hard reset my Xbox just connect to my opponent. Force win scores are flat out ridiculous, we had an 80-10 score in one game. Drafts are very much unbalanced.

I agree with most of this except a whole new scouting system is pretty big. But I was just proving a point that the main focus is NOT improving MUT.

Maybe not improving MUT, but they make sure all the bugs are fixed from what I've seen. I think that has a lot to do with the fact that people send actual money in game on MUT. I'm 100% sure that if EA had a way to get more money from us in CFMs somehow, they would fix all these little bugs we have as soon as they see money start to decline in that area. It makes no sense that we STILL have the game freezing after game prep. I tweeted Rex months ago, and his response then was they were aware of it, and were working on it. Can't be that difficult to fix this issue. It makes game prep dreadful.

That's some genius level stuff right there! No matter what, at the end of the day, how complicated and difficult can they make field goal attempts? It really is like free throws in a basketball game. At least this way it would be out of our hands and really make having a good kicker matter. I sweat buckets when D Jordan is at he line at the end of close games. But it adds to the intrigue, strategy and fun. I'd love this element in Madden.
