The registration is for the new site when construction is complete. As CM Hooe explained, just download the FBGRATINGS roster from EA share.

I'm sure FBG's is better and as soon as I'm done with my franchise, I'll download them and try them out. I will say, though, using the 75 man preseason roster is better than the updated rosters by a long shot. I'm not seeing as many issues with the preseason roster vs updated rosters.

To each their own.

As to the point of my post #25.

From the OP initial post, it seemed as though there was a true question pertaining to the functioning of the 100pt scale and player differentiation, but quickly realized the thread was more about "FBG" than anything else.

There is "player differentiality" using the 75 man preseason roster.

But if the initial mindset is already set to highlight the perceived dislikes of the game, the good aspects currently happening in the game will be overlooked.

Any ways, looking forward to playing M17.

The poster above hit on this as well, it's most likely due to the bigger range in player overalls that the game plays differently in CFM. Pastapadre tracks total player increases vs player decreases over the season with every update and every year the rosters finish with the player overall average higher than the initial rosters.

That being said, the final few roster updates saw an over hall of some positions such as specialists, CB and FBs which will not be represented in the 75 man roster. So it's a choice of how do you like your eggs? Boiled or fried they both have benefits.

Re: Whats the point of the 100 SCALE RATING system??

Since the topic of player differentiation was brought up here, thought I would just post some discovered info here.

Came across a attribute/rating called "Player Performance Level" that players possess that may/may not be the culprit to the perceived lack of player differentiation that's being brought up (of course it's hidden from the gamer).

Every default roster player, including all in the Draft Classes are set at "100".

With no information explaining what this rating is and what it does specifically (as with most ratings), just noting in the "may/may not" category for the purpose of the topic.

Anyone know why the game went away from M12 "Player Roles"?
With in-game affects, seems liked a good mechanism to use for differentiation.

They had player roles before M12 too, took it away and then reinserted it as a "new feature". They worked well and I would hope some of them are still working under the hood (QB of the future for instance, so the bucs or titans don't draft a 1st round rookie QB).

I wonder if the "player performance level" was linked to how much a player can play over his level. In M12, if you drafted one of the high potential players (just sort by the ?? in potential, huge fail there EA), some players would come in and play unstoppable in game. That is until you tried to edit them and they all of a sudden became mortal again. It was odd, but awesome to find these players. Dev and traits seem to do something similar now... darn it Cordarelle Patterson, just catch the ball!!
