Madden 17 team relocations ?

I hope Madden 17 will have better city options for relocation. The number one relocation city that needs to be added is St. Louis.

I just want better uniforms. Preferably fully custom, but at worst let me use any uniform for any city.

Confirmed - the ONLY addition to relocation is taking a team to St. Louis. Nothing else at all has been taken out or added from what John White said. Sad to me, but you got St. Louis!

Playing around with NBA 2Ks relocation it's really a shame we can't have that level of customization. It's pretty incredible.

It'd be awesome if the relocation logos and uniforms were revamped. I don't think any of the current ones fit stylistically with real NFL logos. If I relocate I keep my team's name and uniform the same, cause taking one of the crappy looking options just kills the suspension of disbelief.

Emblematic of a larger issue. (1) Introduce new feature (2) in response to criticism/suggestions, stress that this in merely year 1 (3) leave feature virtually untouched and pivot in a new direction.

You forgot step 0, which is have the feature in a previous game and then remove it.

I just wish they would fix the socks where you could adjust them. That cant be that hard to fix...

I agree, as odd as it seems, not being able to change the sock height (or colors)makes relocated teams not an option for me(cant even add outer white socks). Cant they enable a program so you can pick any city or uniform? Lets keet what we have,(as far as the teams and cities) but be able to put (any team/name/colors) ex: the bulldogs in LA, or any other options that makes the game more enjoyable to me.

well considering the Raiders to Las Vegas is basically happening that needs to be priority number 1, not a city that just lost a team.

Eh, long way to go. 2 big votes and at least 1 special legislative session.

Long term, it would be neat to have the mechanisms in place to enable stuff like this though. The in-game finances being complex enough to explore moving to a number of markets inside and out of the country, and then needing to be able to create a favorable case to move the team to owners who have distinct personalities. These same personalities influencing everything from trade demands/compensation/willingness, coaching hires and the control of your own draft board.

Pipe dream stuff given where the game is at and the level of effort but it's a dream.

Even if everything went our (Vegas's) way the relocation probably wouldn't be in the game for another release or two because it'd still be a few years off while the stadium is constructed.

We'll know in January if they need to move San Diego to LA for Madden 18 though, and maybe this could just be an extension of the player editor in the short term for next year - editing team details and location.

I think most people would be satisfied with them opening up the team edit/relocation options via TeamBuilder (even with no updated to the last version from a couple of years ago)
