Open Roof In Franchise?

I was scrolling through the teams stadiums yesterday and I noticed that some of the dome teams had the option to choose Open or Closed. This was in Play Now, by the way. So the problem is that in Franchise it's always one or the other (open or closed) or that we can't choose ourselves?

I've never really paid that close of attention so someone explain it to me.

It's always closed in CFM, there is no option to pick open/closed and it never opens on it's own. It's so frustrating because the lighting is spectacular when the roofs are open.

Yeah, that is frustrating. Especially since they obviously have both versions available. I don't make games, so obviously I don't know how hard it is to do. However, some sort of logic that says if it's a day game and it's sunny, then you get an open roof and if it's night game or you have weather, then the roof is closed. As an outsider to game developing that seems feasible, however I'm sure if it was easy we would already have it available. Maybe next year it will make it in, we just have to work together to make sure it stays on the forefront of the devs minds.

This needs to be added.. Not sure why this option isn't available.

Looks like they have the Falcons' new stadium, but it does not appear to have an 'open' option even for play now games

Can confirm Falcons new stadium roof does not open. Cannot confirm other stadiums though.

You have had the option for open or closed roofs in madden for years in play now.
