Madden Needs to Implement the 2K VIP System

And it amazes me to this day that Jeff Fisher somehow continues to find work as an NFL head coach despite his proven mediocrity. That's another discussion for another day, though. Haha.

Getting back on topic. Yes there should be a VIP tracking system so players can more easily find the play styles they want to play against.

Why so many are caught up one this one particular play is beyond me. It is taking away from the real topic here.

While there was once a time that EA took all kinds of things from 2K (Stick Juking, Precision Passing, etc.) EA and their fanboys cringe at anything 2K related. I think that system is way too complex for them to implement.

I'm not against a nice surprise fake punt, however the down, distance, score, quarter and all of that isn't even important for a VIP System. Really all that is needed is a "4th Down Punting %".

Sure there are going to be situations where you go for it (4th & short, late in the game, surprise fakes, etc.). However, if you see someones punting % at or close to 0%, then you know would that that's someone you that never punts. I don't know what the a good number would be to tell if that's a non-sim player or not, but you would certainly know that you're playing against a non-punter when you would see those low numbers.

Madden already tracks this information, they just make it extremely difficult to find for some reason.

Or bring back the scouting report you could purchase pre game scouting report with coins...i forget the year(s).

shows Run/pass percentage on current down - run left/mid/right percentage - pass left/mid/right percentage and maybe even how deep/mid/short pass percentages on the downs too.

I didnt play online is much but the games I played i purchased my opponents scouting report and used it in game for help with my play calls. Besides, this simulates film review, scouting, etc..
