New article on Madden 17 commentary

No, the opening sucked, and I moved on. I was asked what I didn't like about the opening, and I obliged.

Was there actually new information that EA didn't already tell us?

The author did mention ESPN 2K5 and called it the gold standard in sports commentary. Maybe he doesn't play basketball games, but he did mentionat least one 2k game and said it was the best commentary to date.

Yeah we would think and hope so, but with Tiburon, you never know. Stuff seems to regress with them at times, or never go to the next level.....

True, but if it does pan out, this feature they will keep adding on each week during the season and in other areas there is continuous development.

They just put out a patch for 16 and I don't recall a patch from a developer, at least in sports, that supported the game with 5 weeks left for the new one.

Is this....is this a joke?

Has the author played any other sports games outside of Madden? If he did, he would realize the sports commentary in NBA 2k and MLB the Show has been miles ahead of Madden for years.

Madden 17 can't "save sports commentary in video games" if it can't even compete with sports commentary in other video games.
