There are plenty of exceptional players in the NFL that are worth being 90+. Numerous elite players at each position which would quickly balloon the number to what I suppose would be considered "too much."

It's about protection where the QB can't see. Most QBs are right-handed in the NFL. In this case, LT is most important of the two. It's not about where the better rushers are coming from.

He could be a 77... lowest overall is 78 in the top 10. Which would seem, correct. I'm a fellow bucs fan too!

Agreed, and not just because we landed him. Yeah I expect him to have terrible speed, but other than that, everyone knows he's lights out.

Re: Madden NFL 17 Ratings - Top 10 Rookies

Remember this is too tiny a sample size to draw any conclusions from. It is 10 guys out of a couple thousand in game. Really, even after all the top 10 position group releases it isn't enough to draw strong conclusions from because your only looking at the top percentage and not the full spread. I get that people are searching for something to talk about, but lets slow down with the freaking out.

That's why I asked about the weight chart.
It will help a lot.

The main thing will be seeing how AWR (modifier) is weighted against ratings.

Sorry, but NO.
Pass blocking is equally important for both positions; it may be the case that you'd always put the best of the two at left tackle to protect the blind side, but that is not the issue here; the issue is: pass blocking is currently a more important trait for a right tackle than run blocking.

I'm glad none of the top 10 are quarterbacks
