Deluxe vs regular edition?

I usually spring for the deluxe edition because I enjoy ultimate team and like the extra packs, but with half benefit being more ranked tickets this year and with the price difference being $20 rather than $10, I think I will skip the deluxe edition.

I don't play head to head online, I only play vs cpu, so I don't think the tickets would be of any benefit to me (unless I'm missing something).

Is there any benefit for the tickets other than online head to head play? I don't recall ever using a ticket in last years madden (but again I never play head to head online).

Tickets were added after the NFL seasons for the new salary cap and draft champion modes.

I've shifted away from ultimate team these past maddens, but consider just using what you would pay for the deluxe to buy a bundle.

Yeah I think I will save my $20 and if anything buy a few extra packs to get the team started, because I don't really care about draft champions or any head to head modes.
