Ok but they still should have left it in in future Maddens after that using created teams. More fun to me to build up expansion like teams than just take over fav team.

An expansion team feature would be great. It's not like it would be a terribly difficult algorithm for scheduling. Just add another auto expansion team when you make yours to make the math easier. At worst you'd need another bye week.

I remember playing Madden 99 on N64. I finished my season. Went to playoffs. Won SuperBowl. Followed the prompts to end season. I figured welp that's it. Time for another season. I was to learn the season continued on to the next season.

Madden 99
Super Mario Bros

Those 3 games wowed me like no others

I think it was Madden 96 on SNES when they had the training camp drills that revolutionized franchise mode in Madden for me.
