2. 3 years in a row. The Xbox 360 version of M15, and the Xbox One versions of M16 and M17.

Only every madden since 15, I alternated between madden and NCAA before that

First one was Madden 92 on the SNES. I've owned pretty much all of them since the Playstation days. I'm 24 now so yeah.

I think my first madden was madden 92 on Genesis. (I think that was the year I was finally able to buy a Genesis). I bought every year till 97. I was so fed up with the lack of innovation in madden and those were truly the years of 'roster updates' the game played roughly the same every year and there was always some level of disappointment. I bought the PlayStation after seeing video footage of NFL game day. I saw ONE stiff arm that just blew me out of the water and was something u NEVER saw in madden. So, madden instantly went 'bye bye'. Lol. Game day 98 is still truly their greatest game. That series strangely went downhill and the Gameplay got worse. But, it still looked better than madden. . Then, the magical year happened when NFL 2k came out. Holy cow! That game blew all other football games out of the water. The smooth graphics, and overall much more sim/realistic gameplay drew me in instantly. So, I was 2k through 2k5, and was incredibly disappointed by the NFL exclusivity. And, ea got me, cause I HAVE to have the new football game every year. Thankfully, madden got a little better around this time, so since the exclusivity, I've bought every madden. So 06-16, now. And, there have been some duds in that time period. Lol. Every year, hoping for serious game change, more realism, etc. Finally, M13 delivered. M13 is truly the first madden I have EVER played that amazed me out of the box. The infinity engine was great (and, yes, I know it was glitchy, too), but I, legit, saw an 'infinite' amount of tackle animations, so that game just felt totally fresh to me. The right sliders really made that game pop. M25 was a step backwards, imo, so I went back to being disappointed. Lol. 15 was ok, but I was burned out from trying to slider fix 25 for an entire year!!! M16 is the real deal and is the first madden to make me forget 2k. Rex and his team/vision have really made some serious strides. I've pre-ordered M17, and will be playing on ea access right when it drops!!

Jumped to PS4 with M15
