in one of the gameplay videos carson palmer scored the go ahead touchdown with about 2 minutes to go and the commentators mentioned how he lead the league in game winning drives the year before. incredible!

Was it play now or cfm though? It's cool when they have those things in play now but it's so frustrating that in cfm the commentary is always from the year before. Like in year 3 of my cfm when they say "Jameis Winston was the number one pick last year"

after Plays guys will adjust socks, facemask, even saw one player sticking a finger into the earhole in their helmet to scratch an itch.

If you cancel the halftime highlights immediately Brandin Gaudin acts surprised, "oh I was about to eat my cheeseburger guess I can't now" with it sounding like he actually has a mouth full of food. Has about 3 or 4 different reactions to you canceling halftime early.

Guys jaw with each other and mix it up more after plays than last year, I like it, more EA more.

The precision user dives, fricking love it!

Seems like quite a few authentic qb throws are in.

Penalties are called more often, had quite a few big plays called back due to holding, also defensive holding is a thing finally.

Another thing I like, sometimes coming up to the line of scrimmage a little stat overlay with an arrow pointing at a particular player will give extra info about the current game, for instance it will point to Randall Cobb, with just the simple info 6 targets 4 catches. Really well done and I hope they expand on it in the future.

After plays there is sometimes a super zoomed in view of a particular player, as in their head takes up the entire screen as they jog back to the huddle. looks great and a lot like a real broadcast might.

You can up the contrast in settings, making the dull whites pop a bit more.

the aggressive catch is toned down for sure, but when it does work it can look great. Julio, Dez, Benjamin can all sky and take the ball away from smaller dbs, looks legit not canned and you feel like it actually should have happened.

Have seen a few plays where the wr will try to catch the ball and turn upfield before securing it, which of course means they simply drop the ball, nice to see.

Watching the Madden 17 ea twitch feed and just found out something MAJOR!

You know all those times when you hit a QB and 99 times out of 100 you think it's a fumble but it's almost always an incomplete pass and you think "BULL****!!"

Well that is now fixed...Big Ben just got murdered and Miami recovered the ball and he paused the game and talked about that and how frustrating it was for people and now you best not hold on to the ball too long or there will be turnovers!!

I wonder if they'll mention how Zimmer was an Assistant coach for the Bengals when the Vikings face them in preseason, even though that was a couple of years ago.
