Madden NFL 17 Bugs/Glitches Thread

Bug: CPU returners and return team don't get out of the way of backspin punts and don't react to them being fumbles when they make contact with a member of the return team.

Can you reproduce it? How?: Yes, as seen below.

Bug- Dallas cowboys scored 19 points against the bengals who scored 16 points. However the scoreboard didn't add one of the cowboy touchdowns so at the end of the game it registered the bengals as the winners with a score of 16-13. Once the game was over I went into the "score summary" and look at the boxscore. The boxscore shows the cowboys with 19 points, but the main score board shows them losing with just 13 points.


Gamemode- Offline Franchise mode. Fantasy draft with the Dallas cowboys. Played the game as Cpu vs. cpu.


Can it be replicated? - I don't know. I've played a bunch of games this way and never saw it.

Bug: 4th quarter with a 10 point lead I made an interception in the endzone and tried to return it and made it only 2 yards out of the endzone before being tackled. The next play it said it was 4th and 2 from my own 2 yard line and I had to punt.

Mode: Offline CFM

Can I reproduce: Not sure but I haven't seen it again since that play was very unique and likely won't happen again for a long time where I make an int and get tackled barely out of the end zone.

Bug: Stripes disappear on unis when switched to long sleeves.

When: every mode if player is edited with Long sleeves.

It can be reproduced every time with certain jerseys, throwbacks. Year four plus for this bug.

Bug (Be Specific): Yards, downs, ball placement/spot not matching.

Example 1
The punt goes out on the 1 yard line. My next snap is on the 1 yard line. I drive down the field and score a TD. After the TD, it says my drive was 95 yards.

Example 2
A pass over the middle is caught and I bring the WR down on the thirteen yard line. The down says, 1st and ten.

The ball is placed on the 15 yard line.

Game Mode Experienced In: offline CFM.

Can you reproduce it? How?: Yes, but it is random. Common (more than once a game) but random.

Bug: Randomly a challenge is called automatically

Can you reproduce it? How?: No it is random.


Bug: A player figured disappear during the game

Game Mode Experienced In: CFM offline

Can you reproduce it? How?: yes just replace a player in depth chart during the game, the player you choose to replace one, disappear.

Bug: Challenge doesn't exit when completed, game keeps going

game mode: Ultimate Team

Reproduce It? Yes, it's happened both times I played it.

This is for the Defense Gauntlet Solo Challenge for the Patriots. It looked like when you end a challenge but then the screen goes dark and then the announcers keep calling the game. Then it shows the game and you haven't exited.

WORK AROUND: Hold the O button on the PS4 and it will exit.

Bug: No kicking stats for my team. Player goals all over the place (example: -16% for Golden Tate III). My player stats don't show up in player stats when I want to see the entire NFL stats but they show up in NFC stats.

game mode: Online CFM

Reproduce It? It's been like this for my new franchise I started after the patch. Haven't tried with another team yet.

WORK AROUND: Nothing yet.
