So the only way is to go get a second controller? Nobody has discovered a single controller work around?

Re: Madden 17 Everything Playbooks (custom) for the CPU or user

I'm new to custom playbooks, so sorry for this question if it's stupid

So, basically, I download a custom playbook (hopefully there will be some on PS4).
Then in CFM mode, I add an extra controller (can I basically just add the new player, or do I need to create a new CFM profile or anything?), and scroll over to the opposition team, and then choose the downloaded custom playbook.
Then move the controller back to middle so CPU controls

That's it? Realistic CPU playcalling?

Sorry again

They did not have this last year in CFM I don't believe, but if you did it in Play Now the playbook would not stick. In other words, it would revert back to the team specific playbook. I hope it is different this year.

Create a 2nd profile on your ps4 (or use another profile if you already have more than 2.)

Once you're on that profile, download a custom playbook.

Switch back over to your main profile. Go to your CFM. Create a new PLAYER on the TEAM you're playing against that week in your franchise (click on Right Stick). Make him an ACTIVE QB. Choose the team's 3rd stringer (or whatever is lowest - the idea is: you DON'T want him playing).

***IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU CLICK INSTANT STARTER OFF***

Then switch back over to your team. Start the game.

On the controller select screen, turn on a 2nd controller. Make sure it's connected to the 2nd profile (the same one that downloaded the custom playbook).

Slide the 2nd controller over to the opposing team. Choose the custom playbook for them.

Launch the game. The CPU should use the custom playbook and as long as the other quarterbacks don't get injured, your game will play perfectly with the CPU using much better play calling.

I don't own 17 yet (picking it up in a few hours) but from what I've heard, this process SHOULD work. I'll test later when I can.

Vikings, Falcons, Saints, and cardinals are done and added to the OP. I also put all the playbooks on madden share (xbox1) with most 4 verts and playactions removed on 3rd and 4th down already for a good base for you guys to start your own custom books. I put pre book under description for those.
