I had the game on the TV in my recording studio and I have a 75" Sony 4k ultra HDTV... The game looked horrible.....
The lighting looked bad especially playing in Minnesota and anytime the sun was shinning. Everything looked grainy.

I played it on my 60" Vizio in my living room which is much lower grade TV than the one in my studio and the game looks a lot better. Theres like a very slight tint and the graphics look smoother.

Why? I have no idea why...

With all of my other games its the opposite. They all look better on my ultra 4k tv

Re: graphics

Turn the dimmer off and turn the live football
Mode on and see if that helps and why does one have a TV that big.

Re: graphics

I mean, I'm not really a techie or anything, but common sense suggests you're upscaling a native 1080p image and stretching it to 75" at 4k. What do you expect it to look like? Am I missing something? What do your other games look like?

All of my other games look great on that TV and dull on the 60"

Seems like everything I've seen you post about 17' has been super negative.

Have you enjoyed any part of it? Honest question.

I wouldn't say everything has been negative its just been the truth from my experience with it so far.

Its a cool game, did I expect better? Yes! But every year I expect it to be better because thats what the good people over at EA hypes us up to believe annually before the game comes out.

The only thing that annoyed me were the graphics. Which I switched TV's so its better now. The QB fumbles which I previously complained isn't all that bad. You just can't hold the ball as long as you did in past maddens. You have to think quicker... Which is cool

Theres a lot thats good but the things that are bad are super annoying...
Like the beach volley ball taps if the ball is tipped in the air. The projectory of the ball is unrealistic; and average receivers being able to catch one handed passes over defenders like Beckham Jr. is so frustrating.
Or defenders catching INT's with their back to the ball... Those things are super annoying!!

But still I play, Im ranked 200 on online H2H and on a 7 game winning streak!

It looked worse because Madden is too colorful/cartoon-like as it is. Your other TV that made games look "duller" actually improved the look of Madden because it toned down the over-the-top color and contrast without trying to upscale Madden's subpar textures.

What model TV do you have? What problems are you seeing? I'm fairly good with TVs so I may be able to help.

Also, for starters, go to rtings . com (yes, ratings without the A) and find a review for your TV. They usually post the settings they recommend and what they do.
