You may have auto-downloaded it along with the main game before release, that's when I got it. Check your download history (under notifications on ps4) and Madden's update history (highlight the game on the home screen and press Options).

My download history says 1.02 downloaded at 2:30 am on Saturday.

I thought I read on the Equipment Guru's twitter page that there will not be a roster update released till the week 1 roster update.

I know he has edited some contracts and stuff, but you may be right, he may not release until week one update.

This scares me. I live in Alaska, and my ISP has data caps for my home internet service. Sucks, since I have unlimited data on my iPhone. If I go over my data limit for my home service (300 GB), then my upload/download drops to around dial up speeds. It makes playing my league games unbearably laggy. I have already read that to fix certain bugs, I will have to do a hard reset of my Xbox One, then re-download the entire game. Not looking forward to this.
