No freaking way. Schemes should be MORE important in Madden, not less. Lots of guys you think of as "elite players" would not be elite if used differently somewhere else. That's an underrated aspect of roster building, whereas right now in Madden everyone is plug and play if the ratings are good enough. Its good that the AI teams value scheme that much.

Playing as the Rams in Offline Franchise (owner control) on Xbox One.

Was sitting 3-1 in Franchise Yr.1 and contract negotiations with WR Kenny Britt (81OVR) broke down and he elected to sign with another team at the end of the season.

WR depth is an issue with Tavon Austin (78OVR) the only decent receiver. I wanted to get a good target for rookie QB Goff.

TRADE W/ Arizona Cardinals
GOT:
Michael Floyd (87OVR) - has 1yr on his contract. Hoping to convince him to stay.

GAVE UP:
Barnes, C, (71OVR)
2017 - 3rd round pick
2018 - 2nd round pick

Since the trade, Floyd has caught 9 passes, 1 TD in 2 games (6min Qtrs). My team is pretty low scoring - luckily the opposition is as well.

Teams usually don't give up much for a Running Back.
