Why does it say i only have 8.82 in cap space but in trades i have 27.7 can anyone shed light on this cause ive seen vids online of other ppl haveing alot of cap space...

Do you have any extra high round draft picks? I think they count against the cap as well.

I believe what NGY88 is referring to is your upcoming draft. While you may have 27.7 million in cap space showing in the trades area there is a portion of that money blocked off for you to sign your draft picks in the upcoming draft.

So the higher the draft pick the higher amount of salary cap that must be blocked off for you to sign that draft pick. If you want more of the cap money accessible during free agency you will need to execute trades that get rid of draft picks or allow you to move lower in the draft
