I feel like some of these things are going to make players very mentally lazy.

This box being red/green feature is great for someone who's newer to or never played football/Madden before, but I have already caught myself relying on it way to much as a seasoned vet. It kind of takes the fun out of the game if you don't have to think about actually playing and making the correct decision yourself.

The being able to view match ups player by player is cool, but once again something people may start to rely on way to much when making reads through their progression in the passing game.

No different than walking into a game with a scouting report. Still have to make the play.

The more informaton the better. You don't have to use it if you feel it is a crutch in some way.

The run boxes are the only thing I don't like. Not because it's a crutch, but because I don't like it visually. It would be great if there was a way to turn it off.

Actually, I have had some really good runs going opposite of what the helmet box count tells me...

The Helmet count doesn't always get it right, and where the defenders are positioned in the box seems to make more of an impact, at times, than just pure numbers.

Remember, all the green and red box does, is give a quick head count; nothing more.

Totally agree, in fact, i'm just shocked that this isn't available. It should, i would think, go away with the other visual helpers.
