I have Xbox one, and actually, I agree with u. It seems they added new sounds and whatnot, but honestly, every time I see a good hit stick animation, I hear nothing as well. And, yes this is disappointing. I do feel like some sound was missed somewhere on this. And, while I don't have to have a NFL backbreaker type sound effect, I want to hear pads colliding. I remember in one game back in the day, it was straight bowling pins crashing. I'm almost positive! And, it made me laugh a little when it 'crashed', but I prefer to hear something over nothing. It really takes the 'hit' out of 'hit stick'. I remember another madden that would crash lightning when u hit stick someone in the rain. Now, again, that's a little arcadey, I know, but I got a kick out of that, and it only occurred during rain games, so it wasn't overdone.

I agree....I certainly can understand toning down the unrealistic car collision sound effects and over the top explosive booms that they had in some of the previous versions, but for God sakes, just go back and play a version like Madden 2007 and listen to the realistic sounds of the pads, helmets, and grunting ooommmmpppphhhs when players hit each other and it would be perfect!

Not hearing anything is major sense of the game feeling incomplete or unfinished!...Please EA patch this in!

u can just goto UTUBE and see hundreds of videos of the missing tackle sound fx
