I also have scheduled off the day after Labor Day & the Tuesday after the first Monday night NFL games or I would have taken more than 1 day off for madden.......loving the game so farComment

I get more excited when the first major patch drops.
Madden has too many bugs and glitches on release day each year to want to take a day off.
For me, the real release day is Title Update #1.Comment

Always....every year the past decade and usually those three to five days are enough for me to know that Madden is still Madden except for last year which I played til August.....and this year which us even better than 16.....football is back in a good way finally!!!Comment

I useally plan my vacation around it that way I have whole week not having sorry abiout nothing but madden.
And funny thing is up till past 3 Madden's my wife used to go pick it up for me so go at midnight and surprise me !!!! But now I just buy it digital copy.Comment

I was out on FMLA with my new born and returning to work on 8/22. I decided 2 weeks wasn't enough and extended it a week. Just so happens that Madden was released on Tuesday during my extra week. [emoji51]

the last 2 years I've been devoted to obtaining it early in which case its unpredictable when i may get it in my hands

Work is no problem for me. But playing behind the wife's back is a problem. She hates that I play Madden. She doesn't get it. I have to sneak away to my "cave" to play Madden and if it goes on for hours, she throws a hissy fit which drives me nuts.
