3 auto cuts at start of 32 team controlled offline CFM?

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere...I tried searching.

I am trying to start a 32 team controlled offline CFM. I am using an edited roster file which has 75 players per team. When I start my CFM, every team except the initial team I choose auto cuts 3 players to get down to 72. This is before I can create the other 31 coaches. Anyone come across this? Any way to fix this?

Do I just need to go through my roster file before starting CFM and make them 72 man rosters??

I don't think there's any way around it. I'm pretty sure as soon as you start CFM it simulates every team through their week so that the ticker works and the only thing that can be changed is the actual game if you decide to play it.

I ran into a similar issue where I traded for two players before I played my week 1 game and then played the week 1 game and both players already had stats for playing Week 1 for their respective teams before then playing for my team as well. I'm pretty sure it just has to do with how CFM goes through its motions. It should also only be a problem in your first season as when you start a second you'll already be in full control of every team.
