CPU preseason cuts

Is anyone else having trouble with a lot of WR draft picks getting cut? All other positions seem to be normal and nothing out of the ordinary. Here's a list of the some of WR cuts after week 1 preseason

4th round WR's

5th round WR's

Tajae Sharpe
Trevor Davis

This is a little excessive to me, it happens in every CFM for me

Not just WR's. Second round picks Carl Nassib, Adam Gotsis and Su'a Cravens were cut in mine

Was this after week 1 or closer to the start of the season?

Idk why they can't put a lock on AI cutting draft picks in the preseason.

Pharoah Cooper doesn't get cut if you up his speed slightly,

MoBo makes the vikings Practice squad usually if you change his dev from slow.

Su'a Cravens is the starter for the Redskins if you move him to SS. He is undersized at the 3-4 MLB spot despite him playing the "money" position... Madden schemes aren't built for this yet, so either move to SS or up his weight.

Also, practice squad designation doesn't happen until week 4 preseason, if a player eligible for practice squad gets cut in Week 3 they will go to Free Agency instead. The CPU does not have the logic to predict who it wants on the PS by week 4, it just cuts recommended players regardless and then signs a bunch of FAs to their practice squad instead of keeping their own talent.

Once the 53man roster drops in a couple of weeks, it will likely include the 10 designated PS players, therefore the 63 man roster will automatically be right during the Preseason Week 4 cuts (as the 10 players cut should all be moved to practice squad, or not if the CPU logic sucks thaaaat badly).

Upped Coopers spd, agility, and acceleration. He still got cut after week 2, regardless that is still way too many draft picks being cut and needs to at least be looked at

Failing that, use 32man CFM offline and take control of the preseason cuts and PS signing, then quit characters down to the coach you want...?

It will work slightly better with updated rosters... but it is due to poor CPU logic in cutting players in Week 3. The CPU needs to be programmed to identify its own players it wants on PS before the week 3 cuts happen... then fill the gaps on the PS from the FA pool. You could always resign the list of players back to their teams as they get signed to an "undefined 2 year deal" anyway, so will stick with the team for the season after. Explained here:
