Coach Mode?

So, I haven't played Madden in a few years now, and picked up 17.

I started a Dolphins franchise, intending to play coach mode (I enabled coach mode on the front end).

I started the season opener versus the Seahawks, using Play the Moments with supersim set to slow, using CPUvCPU sliders. When a moment came up though, I noticed that I was still controlling the players.

My question is: Is there a way to just call the plays during moments, as opposed to controlling the players?

I'm curious how coach mode works this year as well. With NHL 16 you call the plays and its cpu v cpu. Wonder if Madden is the same.

No. With coach mode on all you have to do is snap the ball. The QB will throw etc..
You still need to do all kicking.
