Week 1 roster suspensions? CFM

How will EA address the many, many suspensions in their week 1 rosters?

If your like me, your waiting for the 53 man rosters to be finalized before starting your main cfm. There is a tab to turn on "pre-existing " injuries when starting a cfm. Will player suspensions be included?

Jimmy G? Or no Jimmy G? That is of course we don't use 32 team control, which is an immersion killer this year with the ticker...but that's something else.

I don't remember ever checking for suspended players in previous Madden's so what do you think will happen to Thomas Brady, others, and basically my whole defense?

I hope they do include suspensions. If not I'll probably change those dudes to kickers or something after the preseason. Hopefully they don't get cut in the regular season.

Have they in the past? I didn't buy 16 so i don't remember if Greg Hardy and others were in there or not?

They will all just be lowered on depth chart ea won't put anything in game saying a players suspended.

What they SHOULD do is assign an injury that will correlate with the suspension length. The NFL would never allow them to include suspensions, but they shouldnt just be left on the rosters anyway. If a guy is out for the year, they should put him on IR and make him out for the year.

Wish we could assign injuries like in 2k.

They won't. It will be business as usual, the NFL will never allow suspension in the game as long as the current regime is in charge.

The only problem with them assigning them an injury is that you lose a roster spot for that duration in cfm. The teams don't lose a spot for the suspended players in real life. I guess not a huge game killer but would be nice if there was a way to do it.

Not if they were on IR for the whole year. No roster spot lost for IR. But yeah, shorter suspensions would still be a problem, unless Madden also added a PUP list.

Is this true? Even for yearly suspensions? For example does Jacksonville still have an active roster spot for Justin Blackmon?
