Cheese paradise after patch/tuner

Something was changed for the worse after the patch/tuner. Defense online feels like swiss cheese, running into your linemans backs, linebackers dropping 20 yards instead of hitting gaps.

There's something up. Game played GREAT before the patch/tuner that released cause you could actually play defense. Never seen such a turn around from a patch but now Defense feels like 16.

Edit: Defense feels like 11! Ghosts on the field after the patch.

Try deleting he tuner?

Fwiw I don't know how many games sample you are looking at but I'm getting such huge variability it's hard to draw definitive conclusions on D. Some games I choke the life out of CPU and others they nail me for 500 yards and crush me.

I don't actually mind the variability.

Probably. Online has to appease to the kids and casuals....the MUT crowd. If it's too difficult they won't play/buy

Re: Cheese paradise after patch/tuner

Played a game and won 10-7 yesterday against a guy who tried to throw bombs all game long. I don't see a lack of defense for the game before or after the last patch.

Something def feels different H2H I played about 15 games pre patch and I played 8 throughout the day yesterday. Especially vs the run I feel like I can't get my defenders to hit their gaps.

Without widespread reports stating the same thing, I chalk these up to individual confirmation bias - it happens after every patch and tuner. As someone said above, there's so much variance from game to game, and even within a game that I find it tough to just take definite statements like this ("cheese paradise", "11 ghosts on the field) at face value.

This is precisely what I'm talking about. My defenders before the patch would fly up and hit the gaps - now they drop back even further into their zones and don't attack the line of scrimmage.

You have to completely sell out to stop the run (i.e run commit). Somethings wrong for sure.
