Play a CFM offline franchise with two different profiles, why not?

There is Some kind of legit method for play a CFM offline with two different profiles ?

I do not know if I'm wrong but I feel there is no one way to do it , the ps4 provides the ability to have multiple profiles on the same console , why instead in the game you can not play with multiple profiles in CFM offline?

    thanks for any advice

My guess would be because you cannot login at the same time with different profiles on the PS4.

I do it all the time , it works. Play a CFM game and at the controller select screen turn on the second controller. Log in under a different profile. Then move the controller over to the team youre playing... Bingo you now can control both squads. Usually I do play the moments and when the moment comes up I play offense and leave the 2nd controller on the free safety. When the play starts and you don't take control of the safety the CPU will take over. Again two controllers assigned. If you don't pick up the play on either side the CPU takes over. The only thing that stinks is you have to call timeouts and challenge plays. Still cool. The way I play is I pick the games through out the season I want to play out and just keep one or two active coaches on when I want to play their teams games when I'm done I just retire the coach and switch commissioner power to the new team. You retire the coach but whatever coach it is he stays in the league. Try it. You're welcome,

Yea people need to be aware if this, looks like they're not. You don't need to assign 32 owners or coaches to teams. I'm seeing threads where people don't get this.

Let's say the week 1 games I want to play include panthers/Broncos, Bengals/jets, Giants/cowboys, cardinals/patriots, redskins/steelers, and Rams/49ers, I would just need to select a coach from each of those games? And retire at end of week and repeat for next slate of games?

Wondering too if I just select Ron Rivera, and play Broncos/panthers, and retire immediate after that game and select Todd Bowles for the Bengals/Jets game if that would work. I'm trying to avoid seeing my user name on the ticker for the other games I'd like to play.

Tested this out. Only need one coach for this to work.

Re: Play a CFM offline franchise with two different profiles, why not?

The problem is I won't retire a coach, I meant to say why is not possibile to play an offline franchise with two coach, with two different profiles, why I can't play offline hotseat CFM as online CFM with at least 4 different friends with their four profiles.

It 's absurd that you can not when the console is disegned to do it.

I'm sorry, I don't think I'm following. This sounds like if I'm Dallas in my cfm, and my next game is against the Eagles. I just retire Doug Pederson before the game. 1 coach for the game, for 2 teams.

If you want to play with both teams in that game, you'll need to have a second controller. What I mentioned is a method to avoid seeing the user name in place of the city name in the ticker. It was also building off what the other poster described to avoid needing to select 32 teams.

Read the entirety of the OP here, including the quoted section at the bottom of the OP, to learn how to use two profiles in offline franchise.

And remember, you're only able to use 2 profiles in OFFline franchise, not ONline.

Usually how it do it, I play the Thursday night game. Then after that i look into the games at 1 o'clock. If I like one lets say the falcons are playing the Patriots, I'll pick the Patriots coach and then when I have two coaches active I'll retire the coach I played on Thursday night. Thus transferring commisioner rights to the Patriots and thus remaing with one coach. Then I'll play the one o'clock game. I like this options because I'll follow along with the games in progress on the ticker. After I finish the results from the one o'clock games, I'll see what game I'm interested at 4 o'clock. Pick new team, retire patriots coach tranfer commissioner and repeat the cycle with the 4pm time slots. You can play multiple games in any givin time slot but I like to keep it to one so the ticker counts, meaning no usergame display in ticker, but if you have multiple coaches active in any given games going on simultaneously, it will say usergame in the ticker. That's why I stay with one team for 1 o'clock and 4 o'clock games. I also play Sunday night and Monday night. Remember you can be active with as many coaches or owners you want. Though I like to keep it to two max. Note.. If you want to control both teams with two controllers and two DIFFERENT profiles you cannot have two coaches you are controlling play themselves. Then you can only play the full game with one team only. It's complicated but really cool. I can stay on top of the action 4 games each week and let the ticker fill me in on the rest. Remember when using two controllers with two different profiles , you must have a lead profile(the one you use most) and a secondary profile.(the one you turn on at the controller select screen right before your CFM game is due to start)
And please EA Do NOT remove this feature in a coming patch it will throw away any option we have left at full immersion. I'm really thankful we are able to do this, for it has been impossible to do so for so long. Go play!

Thanks for bringing this up. I have no need for two profiles as the second is just used as guest. Your method saves me the annoyance of 32 team setup and seeing my user name for games rather than city name.

Of course! Just play the games at their right times. Usually I play all four, though you can do it any way you like. The ticker will show the final scores of the game or games prior to it.
