Pass vs. Run and subs possible fix for 'play now' gamers

I played a game last night using my Bucs at the Saints. Brees threw 40+ passes and they rushed 20+ times. Ingram had 19 carries and Spiller got 5.

Not sure if I lucked out but here is what I did:

Instead of choosing the Bucs I took the Saints and selected 'passing balanced' instead of Caoch Payton. Before their first offensive play I put Spiller in on 12-15 different plays using the formation subs. After the first play I changed back to the Bucs at the controller select screen. I played with the Bucs for a series or two then switched back to the Saints and all the formation subs I did were still there. YAY!

The game itself felt awesome because Brees (31-43 for 388 yards) kept passing like he does to the Bucs and they mixed in a decent amount of runs. I've played about 12 games since getting Madden and this had the best 'real' feel yet. I tried this because I was tired of teams rushing way more than passing and having one back with 30 carries by games end...

I lost 36-24 but had a blast!

And sadly, that is what it takes. Which could be such a simple fix if EA would simply allow us to use custom game plans for the CPU.. It’s really that simple, it would be a completely different game for franchise players. I really can’t figure out why they won’t allow it. Or just let us edit and save the CPU's game plan.

For example, Bree's goes down to injury for 6 games, obviously they aren't going to throw their backup QB like they do Bree's. So we adjust their game plan to play according to the backup OB's style and ratings. You know like they actually do in the NFL..
