How to get the cpu to throw downfield more?

Im on all madden...Ive tried custom cpu playbooks...generic cpu playbooks. The cpu seems to refuse to throw it down the field or deep over the middle. So many short passes. any ideas?

You still on my sliders? If so I have no clue, I haven't had this issue at all. QB's throw downfield a good amount for me.

I have more trouble with CPU throwing ball away on all madden ...they will thrown more in 4th quarters

I have no issues with the CPU throwing downfield at all. I am actually getting carved up over the middle and deep because the Ravens CB suck.

Im on default all madden and they do throw it downfield.

One of the main reasons I dont use sliders, the game may play more how you want it to but that doesnt mean the ai will like playing your way.

Rich im still using yours as a base but i changed the cpu reaction up a lot because at 10 I was destroying them on stretch runs. Like I would run a stretch and there would literally not be 1 defender on that whole side of the field. Its a shame because the passing game felt really good with it at 10/100. Not sure why the pass reaction slider was affecting the run game so much.

For those getting carved up, are you using cover 2? I have found that QBs seem to be completely stuffed by every cover 2 except hard flat
