Has the #1 corner alignment been fixed?

My #1 CB always lines up against their #2 WR. I just always have to change it in the depth chart

So we still have to put our #1CB at #2 on the depth chart to get him to cover the #1 WR on the other team, correct?

There was a thread going around, and it's been confirmed that that is how it's supposed to be.
I don't agree with it at all.
In my online CFM with friends, I'm sure they are abusing their #1 WR on CPU #2 CB

If people go to ourlads.com and look at depth charts many top CB play the left corner and top wr tends to be listed as lwr. Meaning IRL the top CB is not always lined up on top wr.
