Game Freezing

So every since they put out the color rush update my game has been freezing heck sometimes I can't even get into the game at all.

And when I can it has frozen on me in my cfm twice one mid game that took me 2 days to finish because it wouldn't unfreeze.

Then i try another game in my cfm and it locks up on the screen telling me the xp's needed for my players for game.

Then today I try play a play now game and it locks up once I pick the 2 teams and can't play that serious??????

And I play other games so it's has nothing to do with my ps4 or internet..,and like I said game played fine up until that update no freezing at all.

Yup same here.. cleared cache on xbox, deleted all files and started over and the game still chuggs all game.. its like playing a laggy online game when your offline

Thats what I had to do sucks because I had good franchise going and had great draft all gone because I had to delete everything and start from scratch again waiting for game to d/l again.

I hope it doesn't lag or freeze after I reinstall!!!! But from what u said guess this be in same boat....

Mine has been freezing on Play The Moments on kick offs for awhile now. I can reboot the game, it's saved, but when I go to restart it has me playing as the other team!

I've only noticed it in MUT when doing quick broadcast option. Though ive played very little since 2k17

UPDATE!!!

Since I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game seems to be running smoother all pages load up faster...even was able to get into a play now game without no problem.

Guess the older file was bad???

Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Spent about 20 minutes last night spending player XP points just before the start of the playoffs. I get to the SS's with only the K & P left to improve...aaaaand freeze. Now I get to do all of that from the beginning. First time I've had it happen, not sure if it's related but I sure hope it's an anomaly.

this is getting silly now!

Played 2 games today cpu vs cpu as usual and game frozen 3 times in both games on FG or on kick offs. I love this game but this is killing me.

I have been getting numerous Freezes lately too.

Mine always seem to be when in the Franchise Menu's... looking at Rosters, editing things.. etc.. etc..

Nothing game related at all, nothing seems slow or laggy... I will just be looking at some rosters or training results... and it just locks up.

Lowndsy... Getting the exact same thing here. Didn't mind so much, because I could re-load and finish the game, It just switched teams on me. Now I get the error code and can only delete the game which drives me crazy because I am usually half way through it.

I don't want to re-install but some one told me if I had my rosters, franchise, settings stored on the cloud, which I do, I wouldn't lose them. But I am not 100% sure that will work. So I am going to wait to see if someone re-installs and if it works for them. So many people are experiencing this issue though, I don't know if a clean re-install will help. If you choose to do so or know anyone that has, Please let me know. Don't want to give up all my work I have put into my Chise, But if it helps, Then so be it, I will take my chances.

I'm not sure but I uninstalled mine and reinstalled and everything was there ...far as cfm...although I do offline because of freezing issues and not be able pause game if u can't complete it then.

This has happened to me several times to in offline franchise mode. Once, the screen was frozen but the music continued playing in a menu.

Do you see a patch coming out soon to fix this?

Sadly I have deleted all except chose save and reinstalled no difference in fact maybe worse.

Does in in online cfm too.. it pretty much makes the games unplayable with all the stutter/freeze. I think im gonna trade it in today gamestop is giving $40 for it. Every year its something with madden and i always feel like a sucker when i buy this game. Think im just gonna stick to mlb the show for my sports fix and finally say goodbye to madden until ea gets their crap together or a different company is allowed to make a football game
