Beating the Blitz in Madden NFL 17

Last week we explored a brief guide on approaching the passing game. This week we’re going to take a look at facing the blitz in passing situations. No matter how good your team’s quarterback is, consistent pressure on the QB can turn Tom Brady into Mark Sanchez. With a lot of users complaining about Madden 17's lack of pressure generated from their front four, players have resorted to dialing up blitzes at a rate that would make the late Buddy Ryan proud. Dealing with these blitzes can be very difficult, so in this article we’ll take a look at some keys to beating the blitz and keeping the chains moving.

Honestly, Nano Blitz Detection and increased Delayed Break Block, has put the gamer at a disadvantage even before the ball is snapped.

Notice the theme here is the OL once again!!!

With each tweak/tune, gameplay in other areas start to be altered and travel down "Tuneritis" begins.

Nano detection was needed to stop cheese but the "instant" block shed nerf was uncalled for. It happens when you have an elite Defensive lineman going up against a sub par oline. Hell im watching Geno Atkins do it right now.

Good read, and the authors defensive read progression is exactly what I do...

The one rule I always go by is, throw to the blitzing side...Therefore if I can predict the blitz side with my pre-snap read, I will streak and drag, one or the other, or both..

        Slant is my 3rd option..
