The ai can't punt in the wind.....

I have played a few games where the wind was over 10mph last night it was 16 and the ai had some negative punts. Some of of them occurred at their 20 or 30 yard line so I'm not sure what was going on. It's like they are trying to sky punts into the wind or the ai thinks the wind is actually at their back when it's in their face so they try to take something off of it and it doesn't go any where. It ruined what was an otherwise entertaining game. Three times they punted for negative yards like lined up at the 30 and ball went straight up on the air and landed in a pile of people at the 28.

Definitely needs a patch or a tune.

Yeah and a lot of the time they have the wind at their back, they punt it straight through the end zone like they don't realize it's going to be 15 yards too far.

I think it happens when you do the sky punt thingy.

Not talking about the human player I'm talking about when playing the ai if the wind is above 10mph they will punt the ball for little or even negative yardage it destroys the game

Yeah I'm saying I think the A.I is trying to sky punt. I've had them have decent punts into wind before. Just sometimes they go straight up.

It's because the wind direction arrow doesn't point the right way. On punts it's off by 90 degrees, so it messes up the CPU sometimes.

Yes the ai has everything backwards in the punting game. This should be an easy programming fix in the patch. Is ea aware of this?

Had them do this 3 times in a row and each time the ball bounced off my returner's head/shoulder pad and they recovered... So yeah, patch please.
