Force More Downfield Throws

Not sure if mentioned elsewhere but what sliders should I change to make the QBs force more downfield throws? Is it just CPU accuracy?

I notice most QBs just throw the ball away a lot or just throw to check downs. Any suggestions?

In my experience its cpu acc that effects this. I leave mine at 50 and I see plenty of downfield throws. I dont see how people can play with the capt checkdown cpu qb's and still call it sim sliders.

I play with armors sliders and the cmp always Chuck's it deep alot last game I played against packers rodgers went deep a few times once for 55 yards, another 40+, and another one which i thought i had picked but some how the wr came down with it.

Seems like almost every team I play seems to unleash the deep ball...

What sliders on the armors sliders affect downfield throws and what are they?

Re: Force More Downfield Throws

I don't think it's sliders as much as it is covering the flats. If you play Cover 2 or Cover 3 with Hard Flat zones (either built is on coverage audibled) you'll see more deep throws.

I just want to have the glaring obvious intentional grounding be called. I can deal with the checkdowns even with the absurd RAC that usually follows but I lose 4-5 sacks a game to blatant IG

Blaine Gabbert is the real version of Madden Robo-checkdown QB. He has been sacked like twice all year, yet on third and four throws it two yards short of the endzone.
