Happy Holidays all.

OMN, out of curiosity, do you plan on releasing a new version any time soon? I ask because I'm considering starting a new franchise, but if there's a new version of the tool imminent I'd prefer to just wait rather than migrate data mid-season.

Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

Started a Bears franchise. Couldn't wait to get rid of Cutler. Went through my first draft. Only 2 bluechip QBs and one Red Chip in the entire draft. Had the 4th pick overall. (Yeah, did that good through out the year.) The thing was, The Blue Chips had TVRs of the mid 60s and the Red Chip was 57. The Blues were 57 & 58 and Red was 61 on my Big Board. 49ers picked 3rd before me and picked up the one I was hoping for. The other Blue was a mobile and I didn't want him. Mind started racing. I had a full board of other blue chips for the picking. Do I go for the Red Chip QB now, so I be sure and get one (Projected 5M) or go for a higher pick:

Belser has a Quick Dev. Had a TVR of 97.48 #1 on my Big Board

Osweiler (REALLY? Had to have that name?) has Superstar dev.

Hartstock I picked up in the 7th round! He has a Quick Dev.

Not shown, I picked up a 73 OVR SS and a 70 TE with two picks in the 6th round.

That MLB with the 3rd pick was a total mistake. Hit the wrong button.

Overall. I think it was a solid draft. 4 Blue Chips and 4 Red Chips. Then the DND flub....

If it's a player league, then you will OK. If you run a short passing game and run the ball till you get his deep and mid accuracy up, you should be cool

Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

Is the recommended strategy to draft the highest TVR player at each slot?

In the most simplistic manner, yes, that's the idea; otherwise, you're leaving better players for your competition to draft. However, if a player is projected in a later round (say you're picking in Round 2 and the player is projected/talent Round 4, you can often draft a different player first (perhaps one with a slightly lower TVR but who fits a team need) while still drafting the better player a bit later. But obviously, there's risk involved, which makes it fun!

Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

I'm having a number of OL in my upcoming draft show up as Risky Picks and I'm not really sure why. It appears to be isolated to the Tackle position as the only non "Do Not Draft" Tackles get this classification, the Centers and Guards all got Blue/Red Chip or Do Not Draft.

Looks like a compatibility problem in whatever spread sheet application you're using. The skill fields where it says 'Pass Blocking' or 'Run Blocking' should read Pass Block and Run Block respectively.

It looks like data validation isn't working, those skills are the wrong names.
