Has anyone scouted some undrafted rated players and come out with a gem?

Is it even worth scouting those types?

I typically dont scout people with Talent of UD. i know people on here have and found gems. But i usually dont have enough points to make it that far. i usually dont get a chance to scout all the positions i want up to round 7 normally. I say if you have extra points scout players who may not be scheme fits. Like i run a hybrid scheme, i usually scout for nose tackle DTs and maybe run stuffer DTs. if i have points, i scout pass rush and prototype DTs. because some of those guys make great 3-4 DEs who have pass rush skills. Same with the Zone CB/FS and Receiving FB/TE diaspora.

I found a solid depth SS (OVR 71, 21yo) in my first and only run through with the tool so far, but I only scouted him after I had combine results to know those measurables were going to be good enough first.

Scouting UDFAs is risky because there's no guarantee they'll be draftable even if you do find a talented one. I don't bother unless I have spare points for whatever reason.

Question to all:

Has anyone noticed that during the regular season, the players listed as "undrafted" talent keep changing names? I've spent scouting points on some undrafted players here and there, but when I advance to the next week, those players are no longer on my list. They just vanish!

Please confirm this is happening to me than just me...

They're in two groups that alternate week to week. But be wary of scouting undrafted players as only about a third of them are actually selectable in the draft itself and there's no way of knowing who.
