He's now ranked as the fourth-best prospect in the entire class at 93.12.
Not to speak for him, but personally I find it VERY reliable when switching a DE that does over 30 reps on the bench to DT. I've had some come in as 68 at DE and 76 with a DT switch... Other positions are probably not quite the same, but a strong DE to DT is pretty much golden

Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

Is it just me or is anyone not finding any draftable WRs or CBs after round 1? Either the combine stats are good and their highest rated attribute is a c+ or if their grades are draftable, their measurables stink.

Thumbs up Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

Love this tool! I'm not permitted to post a link to my recorded actual OVRs in spreadsheet form since this is my first post in the forum. Is it acceptable to use the OVR from the Roster screen instead of the draft recap? That would let me submit the OVRs for players I fully scouted but didn't draft (like Derrick Lawton above, more on him after the table). Until then, I'll just paste the rows in here as an HTML table:

One of the players in my 2017 draft class, Derrick Lawton (LE) had an All Star game draft story without a good fit, commenting that they moved him all over the formation but he didn't find success. Wasn't a comment on him being gassed (Lack of Conditioning) or struggling with the playbook (Intelligence Questioned). He ended up being drafted a little earlier than predicted, by the Raiders in the 3rd round (Pick 3.12), and came out with Normal development. I didn't end up drafting him, but recorded his OVR in the table above at it stands right now. The Raiders have improved his finesse moves and awareness by +2 and play recognition +1 over the season, so his 78 OVR right now is probably a tad bit higher than he likely started with.

My question is, before I go through finding a program to use it and doing all the scouting.. as a OFFLINE franchise user (not cloud. was necessary for how I do my fantasy drafts), is it possible for me to just create a seperate save point before the draft, sim through it.. look through the draft picks where they went, and basically just use that as reference for that previous save pre-draft? The picks might not be straight on again but it would be the same draft right?

I know thats pretty cheap but its basically a shortcut to this which is already cheap lol. I of course wouldn't draft a draft full of superstars as I already limit myself to certain things to keep is more realistic but do it to find who I want
Well yeah you could do that yeah. But it kind of makes it pointless drafting really if you're going to just look at who the best players are beforehand.

I kind of resent you calling this tool cheap though. It's not cheat, it's just taking full advantage of the information the game gives you.

For my 2018 draft class, I noticed you can change what team you're looking at in the Draft Recap screen. When a player on my board was drafted, I noted the team, and filled in their OVRs after the draft was over. HTML table format again since I can't post the link, I wrapped the table inside a spoiler tag so it doesn't throw off readability here.

For the players I drafted, I also noted their dev trait after their name, but I don't think there's an easy way to get that for every player without manually opening every player card. Romel Hemingway was listed as a LE, but I drafted him to be a nose tackle, I noted the OVR for his original position after his name.

I'm running Office 2007, the only thing that doesn't seem to work correctly is the Draft Board Rank, will the raw data still be accurate or am I wasting my time?

Re: Scouting Tool for Madden 17 CFM

I've been using the tool for a few versions now (great work by the way), and i am starting to find that quite a few prospects meet the criteria for a Red chip but are being listed as DND. i find that a high percentage of these players are defensive linemen and LBs. is there something i'm missing or should i just take them as losses?
