Madden 17 Hates Old People

Was going to make a new thread but seemed like a better fit in here. In the article above he basically applies M17's current regression model but backwards. So he looks at old players in M17 and their current attributes and basically looks at what their attributes would have been at a younger age had M17's regression model been applied. It's definitely an interesting look and kind of exposes their system and the fact that you'll never really see older players similar to that of the base roster.

Just from Personal Experience... I play deep into my franchises and when you have Quick and SS dev players over 30 they sometimes can stay the same or regress in a way that they lose attributes that aren't usually what you may use them for.
For Example: If you have a full coverage/playmaker Safety and he's not called to Run Support throughout his career... he can lose Block Shedding and some hit power. Or a defensive end who is a run stopper will lose Speed and acceleration but strength will stay the same. So unless you have mega performers a lot of times they will drop off.

Honestly it's not that big a problem. It's 10x better than having guys that were 35 and still hadn't dropped off. It used to be you'd sim 10 years and the same guys were at the top.
