Changing player types

Do you guys change your players player types to fit your player scheme types or do
you leave them as they are by default?

M17 has changed how i look at this. in the passed i'd flip the OL guys as most would become ZB to fit my scheme.

this time around most positions slip to a the same archetype. for example:
- most OL become "pass blockers" even if their pass blocking att is the lowest.
- most LB become "prototype" at MLB & "34 pass rushers" at OLB.
- most HB become "power back" even if they can't truck well or are 185lb at 5'7.
- most WR become "speed" at WR even if their SPD is 82.
- most CB become "man to man".
- most QB become "pocket passers".
- most DL become "speed rushers" at DE even if they are 360lb with 52 SPD & no pass rush.

you can always change these manually yourself of course but previous madden indicated which archetype best fit your player when you moved their position. M17 doesn't.

That's what I'm wondering. Like I set my whole OLINE scheme to run blockers but my LT is a pass blocker so I'm wondering if I should change his player type to run blocker. But then I feel like its cheating no?

Why not just set your LT player type preference to pass blocker?

When changing positions and then back it used to make the player his best player type. It doesn't work like that in 17. I can have a 180 pound, 95 speed back with 68 strength and the game makes him a power back. I have just been editing players to the type I want for each position because that is what I am developing them as.
