What are you doing to add longevity to the game?

I add replay value by creating Classic teams with 1000's of former players from one specific era......

In the process of doing this i get tweak the ratings so that not everyone is basically doing the same things on the field.....

Little things like reducing the carry ratings of offensive skill players can lead to more natural fumbles that the game tends to limit out of the box and reducing down the SPC ratings allow better separation amongst the good wr's and average wr's

Editing also puts some drama into the fg kicking......nothing being automatic

Stepping away from the game helps. Just go for a while without playing the game. Do something else, play something else for however long you want. If you get the itch to play the game again, play it, and it may help. If not, just move on. The point of playing video games is to have fun passing time, and if you're not having fun, find something else to do.

i do a bunch of things but i've recently started doing these:

- draft for every team in the first round to stop them from taking the same position every year.
- switch players to fit their team's scheme.
- go through every team & "fix" certain contracts. for instance, MIA had suh on his final year at a bazillion dollars but only pennies of G$. no way this happens in real life.
