Yes, yes, and yes, I'm bored with Madden 17. As a far as the user controls, there's been little to no innovation in the Madden series for years. When you take Madden out of the box and fire it up, or download it now a days, what ( if anything ) of any significance is the user forced to learn ? As far as mechanics go, what's different for the user--what's really different ?

The essence of a game, any game, is the task of learning the mechanics, mastering them, or getting as close to mastery as you can, and then succeeding because of that. That's where the satisfaction ( at least for me ) is derived.

Honestly, from a mechanical perspective, Madden is stuck in Gen 2.

It got boring after the first month for me.. I'm a CFM player only.. Same thing each week:

1.) Gameplan
2.) Play a match

That's it for the whole season.. I really wish we could interact with players/give interviews etc.. Putting three game modes together and calling it "Connected Franchise" is just lazy by EA.. And it has barley changed since they bought it in.. I love My GM in NBA 2K and only wish Madden would do something similar or one day 2K make another NFL game (please)..

Out of box is great. Unless you have digital that is. Game play awesome. Presentation is what is killing it for me, besides actually playing a game outside of that is weak. Im not asking for an entire pre, halftime, post show maybe something like a pre game that features your team vs who who are playing, during the game show highlights from a score or big play from another game, they use to do this in like madden 92 or 93. At halftime show a play from each game then put up all the scores on the screen, and post game maybe show all the finals and a few highlights. Maybe like around week 12 or so show all the playoff scenerios. So to answer the question yes it is getting boring outside the game itself.

Stadiums are inaccurate.

More exploits come with each patch and allows more flaws

Fumbles are out of control.

players lack common sense.

I just hate how (as an NFL fan from Australia) this is THE ONLY NFL game out there.. If we get bored with Madden we have no alternative..

I only play online.... I was bored with it after 2 weeks into it..
Same ole thing from year to year

Football as a whole has become boring this year to me.
